The pleasure I find in songs is one that I have looking for that teenage feeling. More than a time, a song captures a moment, a specific feeling one has. They have a sharper effect on us than albums do. Like the difference between a novel and a poem or short story. An album can re-create a phase, an era of my life where I did some significant learning.
I am definitely an album rather than a song guy but paradoxically a lot times I feel like a short story guy instead of a novel guy.
